Abstract:

The process of volatilization and deposition of ammonia is an important source of nitrogen in tundra ecosystems of ice-free zone. It also plays an important role in the maintenance of the stability of tundra ecosystem. However,very little work has been done to quantify NH3 flux from penguin guano and seal excreta.
