Abstract: In pursuit of actualizing the grand vision of substantially enhancing the level of intelligence of the polar platform through comprehensive research and design, this study designed an overarching strategy for the digitalization of polar regions. This strategy, grounded in a robust framework of policies, regulations, and standards, and bolstered by a steadfast commitment to secure operation and maintenance, lays the foundation for four critical application systems: expedition support, observation- monitoring and evaluation, scientific research, and risk forecasting. These systems are unified under the banner of “a single network, a unified map, a central platform, and an integrated database”.
