Abstract:

Antarctic petroleum hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria NJ49 was screened from microorganism culture collections of Antarctic sea and sea-ice,using diesel as sole carbon source. A preliminary study of influence of environmental factors on the growth and degradation efficiency of NJ49 has been made.
