Abstract:

Cloud is a large obstacle to remote sensing image preprocessing and analysis at all times. This paper mainly aims at extracting cloud from Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus(ETM+) images of Grove of Antarctica basis of analysing multi-spectral characteristics of images of Antarctica. The result indicates this method can not only detect the cloud of polar region successfully, but also remove influence from thick clouds partially.
