Abstract: Mobile Internet is developing rapidly because of smart phones, the majority of which are Android and iOS. This paper presents the design and strategy for the implementation of a mobile information platform named Mobile Polar. It is based on the Android and iOS platforms and it enables the browsing of and interaction with polar investigation data. The platform has been approved by experts and officially released in the App Store and Android markets. It provides a new channel for polar management departments, researchers, and the public to obtain easy and fast access to polar-related information.
